We cut Irwin so this kid could fail to take the field. Cut his ass and sign a guy who wants to succeed.

A reddit user, also found out that Burton is getting evicted from his apartment, which is @ Radius at the banks. He claims hes getting more information, but his girlfriends friend works at Radius.
Dont know if this is connected, but its certainly interesting. https://www.reddit.com/r/bengals/s/u0LpVgKvkU

He needs to get somebody to handle his accounts for him I mean, at the risk of defending Burton, that's most NFL rookies. He went from being an actual legal child to being a 4 star recruit to Div 1 top-tier SEC teams. Having to learn life skills, working side jobs to make ends meet and so they can budget out enough of their money to eat ramen wasn't ever really in his curriculum. It's not like public schools are really teaching you useful life skills like that, so unless your parents teach you, you're kind of stuck to figure it out yourself. For normal people it's slower and with lower stakes than a 7-digit salary, and probably close to your childhood home rather than wherever the 1 of 32 teams took you are located. ____________________________________________________________

Remember when folks wanted him to have #3 so we'd have 513?
I was never a fan of the pick, but I hope the kid gets it figured out

Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

BY this time in his career, Chris Henry was already dealing with his first arrest and soon to be dealing with his 2nd.
At least Jermaine has managed to stay out of jail. https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/news/bengals-wide-receiver-jermaine-burton-being-evicted-and-sued-by-landlord-01jgq9s3b049 All hopes turn to next year

What makes this pick more of a headscratcher than it was previously, is weren't we told that under the Zac Taylor regime they were only looking for high character guys, teams captains and such?
