Yep, these fans have been bungalized. Unfortunately, everyone pays for it, because they keep going to games and giving the Brown family money for an unacceptable product.

Did ZT have the team in position to beat KC, at KC? Y recall a 4th and 16th where a questionable pass interference penalty was called took a win to a loss. But hey KC sucks since they barely beat the Bengals. Did our kicker lose us one or 2 games in 2024?

Why insult fellow fans? I started this thread because I knew we would likely miss playoffs. That does not take away the fact ZT just completed his 4th winning season in a row. I also said I understood many disagreed with our being 5-0 to end. the year was a good thing.

We lost our 2 starting QB's fairly early in the season. I saw improved CB play the past 4 games. We lost Wilson on defense as well, I saw some LB's step up late in the year. I saw us lose both starting DT's for a significant amount of time leaving us with 2 rookies who had to be thrown in the fire early. I saw Jenkins (playing with a broken hand according to Trey) and saw some improvement. One DT never came back. By my count we lost 4 defensive starters for most of 2024. On offense the Chase hold out hurt us early in the year. Higgins missed a lot of time with injury. Brown played the final games with 2 broken bones in his fibula, Mims broke his hand and had ankle injuries.

I get it every team has injuries. But look around at Ravens and Steelers and they are no close to us injury wise.

I will continue to be an optimist and a realist. It is tough to win games in the NFL. My hope is our FO looks at our major weaknesses and turns weakness into strength. We have major weakness at OG, Volson was exposed all year and Heyward showed he is not an NFL level guard. Stone is not a great safety; we need a stronger vet safety or a rookie phenom in round 1 like Starks or round 2 like Watts.

We need to address in house FA's first like Tee, Jamar, Trey, Hill and Gesicki.

I am not bungalized, I am extremely disappointed we did not make the playoffs with Burrow, Trey and Chase. That is the bad news, the good news is we still have Burrow, Trey and Chase in 2025 and hopefully many years to come.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

I don't understand how you can be an optimist with this ownership man. i really don't get it. It's sooner than later we're gonna get burrow hurt again and waste both him and chase, and lose trey or his production just drops off a cliff.

My faith. I learned a long time ago worry never solved 1 problem, but did create other problems. I learned don't worry about things you don't control.

You have a Chyrstal ball filled with doubt, mine id full of optimism. Every day is a blessing, living in a country we can worship and be entertained by pro football is a blessing.

Life is more than my teams winning.

i love your response. your sig is amusing. considering burrow wants to keep tee. if they trade tee do you think burrow would be happy with that? the bengals always and forever will be a dumpster fire. yeah i'm negative.

If Zac comes out after and says I just wanted to run and try the kick and he'll look at it in the future that's one thing. Don't say you did call a pass that Burrow checked out of but was the right decision to check out of. That is just not good.

That sounds like a HC backing up his QB. Again, why have a kicker your paying millions of dollars and trust him to do his job?

Extend him! Y’all  are something else. Can’t expect MB to see through the smoke and mirrors if fans can’t.

We had an MVP-caliber QB and a probable triple-crown winning WR and still couldn't get a top-5 scoring offense, either.

Better offensive minds get better results with less.

Funny how you disappeared when we went on this 5 game run and when we get eliminated, you reappear with your bullshit.

How many seasons in a row of no playoffs are the Taylor supporters content with? The count is now 2.

This was supposed to be SB or bust or at least playoffs or bust but here we are. Celebrating the season and praising the team and coaches.

It's insane to me that Burrow has only been to the playoffs 2 out of 5 years that he's been in the league. Even Dalton had a way higher % of making the playoffs when he played for the Bengals (5 out of 9 years). Taylor is holding Burrow back

Is there a reason you picked "top-5 scoring offense" as your barometer? I mean they're top-6. That is, 6th out of 32 teams. Not too shabby. And this is with a defense that doesn't exactly get the ball back for the offense. And an O-line that was mix and matching for much of the year due to injuries or lousy play.

This thread was started to applaud Zac and the boyz going from 4-8 to win 5 in a row (2 playoff teams along the way) and finish with a winning season.

I see nothing wrong with the thread, but others are unhappy and do not want you to be. So telling you why you are wrong to be positive is a coping mechanism they employ.

Sounds like a HC deflecting the criticism and using his QB as a shield. But anyway yes trust your kicker just don't settle for a 50+ yd kick with plenty of time left.

I am for keeping ZT around but I really hope he considers giving up play calling and letting Burrow and Pitcher just do their thing.

I don't even think play calling was poor this year, I just thing ZTs other responsibilities suffer because he has too much going on during the game. Just focus on game management.
