DC/OL wish list
(Yesterday, 09:00 PM)jj22 Wrote: So let’s live like it’s Eb since we don’t have nothing else to do this wildcard weekend. Some assistant coaches from the Bears he may be negotiating to bring with him. Can the Bengals be competitive and sign his preferred assistant coaches Even if it means letting go of some of the previous regime holdovers?

Eric Washington - May be in consideration to coach the Dline. He has an interesting background outside of the Bills history which I witnessed the Bengals carve through first hand.

David Borgonzi - sounds legit I wouldn’t mind seeing him here.

Andre Curtis. I’m ok with keeping Burkes around but Kovacks hasn’t done enough to fight to keep around. He is a Lou’s guy through and through and I’d like to see someone else get the shot. I like what I read about Curtis.

EB made Billings good and Billings is a FA this year.

If they hire him, hide and watch.

I feel if we hire a DC and he does his job, ZT will win a lot more games than he loses making the replace Zac crowd go mute or be muted by most fans.

If a former head coach does a poor job, why would fans want him to replace Zac. Your earlier post just makes no sense.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

I tip at least 20% for good service, at least 25% for great service. How many saying MB is cheap, frugal and whatever stingy need to look in the mirror.

Not a relevant argument, honestly.  Mike should be compared to fellow billionaire owners, not message board denizens.

That said, Idk if cheap is the word.  I'd say he lacks creativity and agility when it comes to contracts.

Not at all.

"Eberflus would be a STEAL for the Bengals," an anonymous NFL coach said. "One of the most complex and difficult defenses to plan for. Exotic packages on third downs and passing situations was one of the best in Dallas and early on in Indy."

Wouldn't hate Eberflus.  Honestly wouldn't hate Patrick Graham, either.

I gained some respect for Garrett as well. Dude was pure class when that Ravens o-lineman asked for his jersey.
