Tee’s market price (Update: 3 March 25, Tee has been tagged again)
(8 hours ago)rfaulk34 Wrote: Last time i peeked, you had 3 full pages (20 posts per page) that dealt directly to Tee Higgins (specifically named--about 95-98%--alluded to 2-4%), with about 1% of your posts being about anything at all but Tee Higgins. And that's just where i stopped. That's 60-80 straight posts about 1 player, over and over again.

All i'm saying is, everyone knows your stance on Tee Higgins. You've been beating a dead horse and repeating yourself over and over and over again. What's the use in yet another post about Tee Higgins?

Expand your horizons bud! Make a few posts about something other than Tee Higgins! If you won't do it for God and country, do it for us poor, battered posters.

Feliz cumpleanos and may the force be with you. :)

perhaps you poor battered posters ..are the few ..that keep preaching to keep an often injured higgins @ 28-30 million a year should step back and think this through..then I will not respond..This really is not an issue about tee higgins its anbout the bengals doing the correct thing..and I am sure we are all passionate about that..but thanks

What are your thoughts on the Bengals doing everything they can to keep their best players, regardless of position, as long as the cap allows it?

the pro higgins posters' arguments is that of a scared sissy man

"they couldnt replace bates so they should keep higgins"

"joe burrow wants his friend here and we should do as he says"

I mean, those are very lame reasons

I'm only a semi-pro Higgins poster but neither of those bitchmade reasons would come out of my mouth. A logical scenario where the cap would allow it might though.

Those are weak reasons but he would easily get $25-30 million/year from another team in FA so it’s not like people are just being homers in thinking he is good. His issue is availability because when he plays he’s a very good player who regularly wins 1 on 1 match ups.

I’m on the fence in that I would love to have him back but not if it costs them the ability to add to the areas that need upgrading (OL/DL for sure).

If they can’t get a deal done then they have to get something for him and not just let him walk. I am against just having him play this year on the tag because next year it becomes a monstrous number to tag him again and they will lose him for nothing.

27 pages and counting. And I feel there could easily be 27 more to come. We just beating a dead horse. Into submission. Then beat some more.

It would probably be around 25 less pages if all the comments repeating the same thing over and over were removed.    Tongue Ninja

That guarantees another 26m for Tee and 47m over rhe last two years. I know they guys want long term but close to 50m guaranteed isn't that bad for 2 years work.

It almost like they could have gotten this done deal two years ago, guranteed the two years (which they did anyway) and added on addtional 2 years. All while not pissing everyone on the team off.

This front office is such a joke.

You’re not wrong.

Bengals have to realize when they have elite talent in the building and get a long term deal done earlier.

I don't think they get close to a deal... I think it's a tag and trade. They've had way too long to get this done and both sides likely aren't budging. Only one way out of this.

Right.  Us peasants would consider that generational wealth.  Assuming he isn’t extended or traded all he has to do is make through this year not seriously hurt and will get something next year.  Which may up the odds he doesn’t play hurt this year.  Shite or get off the pot

Not surprised by the tag. Buys time for the FO and gives them options. BTW...Is this the first time the Bengals tagged a player twice? I think so....maybe should've tagged Bates twice in retrospect.

Calvin Ridley got $50 million guaranteed last year on a 4 years 92 Million dollar deal, so essentially Tee got as much guaranteed as the best FA WR deal last FA cycle. Funny enough, Ridley's deal basically has a two year out that guaranteed 51 Million...so again not much different then what Tee has had to this point.
