RD1-Board Picks (2025)
#21
Patriots it's either Will Campbell or Tetairoa McMillian and I have Campbell higher on my board. Will Campbell will likely get a chance to fail at Tackle but he is going to be a quality OL (I guess guard or center) and the Patriots need all the OL they can get.

Edit: Ultimately I think the Patriots trade back even at a discount and take Campbell or my OT1 Armound Membou.

The patriots could use help everywhere.

In that situation teams generally take the best player available.

Most would say that is Travis Hunter so that’s my pick.

If not him I think they draft LT or dline here.

RD1 PK1: TENNESSEE TITANS: SHEDEUR SANDERS/QB
RD1 PK2: CLEVELAND BROWNS: ABDUL CARTER/ED
RD1 PK3: NEW YORK GIANTS: CAM WORD/QB
RD1 PK4: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: WILL CAMPBELL/OT

RD1 PK5: JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS:

Jags need Oline worse than the Bengals, but IMO anyone other than Campbell is reaching here. Luckily they also need help at CB and WR. Why not get a dude who can do both? My nominee is TRAVIS HUNTER/ATH/COLORADO

Would say Hunter, as well, though Campbell is honestly a reach in any class other than this one.

I haven't watched him much. But a 14 minute OL highlight video sure made him look good.  Shocked

Jags seem like a really nice fit for Hunter.

Players always look good in highlight videos.  That's why they're highlight videos.

He's literally OT1 in the class...and very likely will have to kick inside in the pro's.

Ironically enough Vrabel's last 1st RD pick as a HC was Peter Skoronski. I see simialarities

RD1 PK6: LAS VEGAS RAIDERS:

The Raiders need a QB and it wouldn't surprise me if they did something with CLE to take one of the 2 Top QBs or reserect Al Davis and take Jaxson Dart. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they realize Zamir Whilte is average at best and there is a generational talent at RB in this draft. LV picks ASHTON JEANTY/RB/BSU

RB is a good choice here. But I'll go in a different direction and say Mason Graham DT.

I think they go the AJ Green/Andy Dalton route and go with McMillan at 6.

1. Cam Ward - Next Jayden Daniels
2. Shedeur Sanders - Browns being Browns
3. Travis Hunter - Cam Ward is gone
4. Abdul Carter - Vrabel's cornerstone OLB
5. Mason Graham - Could even be Grant
6. T. McMillan - Raiders like freaks
7. Kenneth Grant - Unless he is gone at 5, then Mason Graham

I’d be all for this.

Honestly it would be good value for both teams.

Bengals could throw two early picks at the defense or one defense and one guard.

That said, I’ll believe it when I see it.

For now I would definitely add to the defense here.

I vote DT. They should probably go oline with the next pick based on draft position value and need. Teams ‘should’ be wanting to copy Philly’s strategy of building from the inside out on both sides of the ball.

This would make sense too. Raiders have swung and missed on a lot of first round WRs in the past.

Of course this isn’t the best strategy but if they finally hit on the pick it certainly moves the needle a ton to get a legit wr1.

This makes sense other than Grant at 7.

Is he rising up that high on mocks?

Raiders go Ashton Jeanty (best player in the draft class) and he gets 350 carries in 2025.

WalterFootball has him going #5 overall, PFF has him ranked as #14, Daniel Jeremiah has him at #18 and DraftBuzz at #19.

The average is around mid first round.

In my opinion, he is one-of-one. Deone Walker and Norman-Lott could be the other 1 techs, but neither are in Grant's class.
