Bengals are nowhere close to deals with Trey, Tee or Ja'Marr

Sounds like they are going to extend Tee somehow, 30 mil per year sounds really steep for a guy who is injured like 5 or 6 games a year.

At least Trey plays almost all the games but he is getting older and 35 mil per year sounds steep. But it isn't my money.

Ja'Marr is the one that should be done already. Pay the man his guaranteed money and his 4-year 160 mil and he is good.

Here we go.... Bengals let Trey Hendrickson seek a trade. He's gone hopefully we can get a decent return.

Yeah, just saw it. Could get a really good return for a guy that led the league in sacks.

Once free agency begins, Tee and his agent are free to talk to any team they want.  It doesnt matter what the Bengals say.  Tee could get an indication of his value from talking to other teams and bring that to the Bengals management.

This clueless monm and pop front office couldn't close a door never mind a 3 way deal with our best players minus Joe. I see them BARELY getting the Chase deal done and thats it.

And I wouldnt be shocked to see him tagged before that even happens..they dont disappoint with their incompetence.

no next year, because they are so assbackwards they get nothing done this year. Chase is still under contract.

Ah, okay. Well I think they at the very least get Chase's contract done after the Trey news. 4 years 160 million or something like that
for not getting it done last year when they should have.

Maybe40/year isn’t the deal Chase wants. Maybe he wants 45. Is there a price that’s too much for him? I say no lol pay the man whatever it takes

I don't know if this is sad or laughable at this point.

Why is it the only big deals they can ever work out seem to be with a QB?

The way the Bengals are with contracts makes it feel like when you join a small company just to gain experience to jump to a real, bigger company.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

ATP this is beyond inept

This is getting to the point where the city needs to refuse to give money to the Bengals

This is a USAID level waste of our tax money

Yeah, pay the man. But last I heard they were offering him 37 mil per year and he wants 40, so get it done.

The Trey thing doesn't bother me.

Sounds like there's been some progress today as far as Chase and Tee goes.

Good news all day for me. I just don't think Tee is worth 30 mil per year with his injury history.

With Ja'Marr, just pay the man what he wants, he has earned it.

This isn’t validated by anyone credible but there’s a rumor going around that we offered Chase the same exact deal as last year

I kind of doubt that, but it wouldn't shock me.

I get that contracts are a negotiation, but it would irritate the F out of me if I were Ja'marr and they started low.  Stop wasting time and offer him 40.  They made a bad decision by not being proactive last year.  Eat it and lock up your second best player.  To me, he's the easiest decision of the 3.

What I'm wondering is if Burrow's possible restructure is contingent on specific moves.  Like, though I agree 30M is too rich for me...does say 5M being available for the next few years depend on the money going directly to Tee?  If so, a happy Burow + a known (yet injury prone) talent vs our drafting history = worth paying Tee 30M.  Same goes for Chase's money, and for all we know maybe Burrow's restructure is contingent in signing both.  Then you've got how the Brown family handles guaranteed money, which could turn Burrow's offer to restructure into a "I did my part" that never gets to the table.  Again, theoretic but to be a fly on the wall with Burrow's influence on how the money is spent.

With one agency representing both Tee and Chase, we won't get any glimpse until a serious impasse is reached.

As of right now, the only signal is Tee's mother. Seems she is unhappy.

When negotiations are at a deadlock, then Teams and Agents use their media mouthpieces to disseminate propaganda.

Then lastly; the moles implanted on Fan Boards begin to chirp.

I think Frankie Booth is a mole. Based on his comments about Tee, he may be a Bengals mole. Unless he is double-cross, secret Tee mole - which he could very well be!
