Myles Garrett just got paid...
#1
The Browns and Myles Garrett reached agreement today on a record contract extension that averages $40 million per year and includes $123.5 million in guaranteed money and now makes him the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history

Trey is definitely gone. They might not even sign Chase now either, remember Tobin saying he sold be the highest paid non-QB? LOL

That will hurt as Ja'Marr Chase wants to be the highest paid non-QB...

I hope Chase gets paid a fortune.

***** detest the Brown family so much, it was in the palm of our hands.

Even with Burrow doing special things it would be a miracle if we get back to the 21-23 stretch anytime soon.

It’s not going to hurt Chase. If it hurts anyone, it’s  going to hurt a Tee extension.

Bengals have Trey at 16 million base in 2025. Trey still has no cards. If he cant find a team to give Bengals a king's ransom, Bengals just don't trade him.

Well they need to get these deals done now as soon as possible. The Browns keep resetting the market convincing guys to come that didn't want to or stay that wanted to leave. I do think Garrett deserves to reset the market I also think Chase does as well.

This impact Steelers as well. TJ Watt I believe will be on last year of his contract.

Yeah Chases deal now starts at 41 mil/year average.
Also, Myles is (still) a doosh. I mean get paid but don’t play this whole media game about wanting to win/not about $ then do this. It was always about the money and that’s fine just don’t say that it’s not.

Bengals should take note of how the Cleveland FO operates.

I’m getting close to ending my 32 year relationship with this team.

If they blow this off-season, I’m done. The frustration never ends.

I did not know it was possible for someone to be so bad at their job without losing it (referencing the Bengals FO as a whole).

No thanks
You can go to live in France, but you cannot become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey or Japan, but you cannot become a German, a Turk, or a Japanese. But anyone, from any corner of the Earth, can come to live in America and become an American

Correct.

If Trey does not bring back an acceptable trade offer, the Bengals still have the best pass rusher in the league for only $16M.

It is not a forgone conclusion Trey is gone.

And if he walks a year later, the Bengals get a 3rd round compensatory pick and the market gets smaller because he got older, so whatever team wants Trey really needs to overpay at this point.
