I'm just really hoping that they truly believe that Justin Fields is their answer at QB. It'll keep them from ever being a real contender.

Good luck having Pickins and Metcalf on the same team playing the same position.

Did we sign the best free agents yet? I've been busy at work and missed the opening bell.

every year posters laugh at the steelers and every year the steelers are in the playoffs. They've made the playoffs more than cincinnati since burrow has been here

so no matter how bad it looks for pittsburgh, theyre going 9-8 at the bare minimum, including a win over cincinnati

And I think the FA DT class has mostly niche/specialists who are mot every down guys (Williams). Excellent in one aspect but poor in another. Or guys like Hill.

Most rankings I saw had him as a top 5 FA DT. He was a top 4 defender for us last year (Trey, Wilson, Hilton, Hill).

Now draft 1-2 more. And sign some Gs.

Yes sir Ike. BJ is about as solid as it gets so he keeps our DL from being terrible. Very good signing for 11 mil per year.

Would you rather be 9-8 every year with a first round exit or would you prefer to make runs? They have 3 playoff wins since 2015 while the Bengals have 5 since 2021.

Neither choice.

I want the playoffs every single year, deep postseason runs, and Super Bowl wins.  Tongue

you can make that point

you can also make the point that the bengals have only made the playoffs twice with burrow as their qb, while the steelers are making it routinely with a spinning wheel at qb

How many seasons has Burrow been healthy? They basically have only not made it one time he's been healthy and that was last year but they were one game out.

The NFL you are better off sucking for a few years then always being average that's where the Steelers are. The Bengals right now have a better shot of winning a SB than the Steelers because they have a QB and the Steelers can never get one because they win too many games. They would actually be better taking a down year to build, and most their fans actually agree.

Callahan knows what happens when the QB doesn't have a decent line (Note: I have no idea if Moore is good lol).

the steelers are always a qb away. Theyre constantly rolling out winning teams with awful quarterbacks. They just need to actually pull the trigger on getting a legit qb for once.

I mean, im just saying, I'll laugh at the steelers once they have more than 2 consectutive losing seasons, and the bengals sweep them for multiple consecutive seasons

For Bengals fans it is a day/week of high anxiety so make sure you are ready.  The must haves include

1) bottle of antacids
2) bottle of Tylenol
3) adult beverage of your choice
4) Xanax
5) and of course, that smidgen of hope that will quickly be doused when the FO does something stupid (er) than they already have

Nahhhh expect nothing and youll be just fine and on par...

Maybe the Steelers should tank just one season so they can get a good QB then.

Although with the way we're seeing/hearing Shadeur Sanders fall on draft boards, maybe he ends up a Steeler.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
