Weak Free Agent Class this year?

I like Jenkin's pass protection number way better than Becton, so I am onboard with him. Sherfff's numbers are also good.
I also wouldn't be sad with Hernandez or Colon.

Honestly I wanted Zeitler for his play but equally for the story of returning back with a chance to win a championship. But I don't care who it is as long as the stats say it's a clear upgrade. But with the apparent never ending wait I have all but lost any hope that we sign 2 guards. I really hope they shock me but I would've thought they would already have pulled the trigger if they valued the position like I thought they should. Atleast we will get some insight with Jenkins visit to Seattle on Monday. I just hope it's not him signing in Seattle for a reasonable contract news.

The big Guard moves in FA were trades before FA even started. With all the cap space the Bears had that shows you what they thought about the FA guard class this year.

Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of guards on the market this year.

I hold the opinion that they are pretty average though. A lot of extremely old guards with their best years behind them. And a lot of average young guards.

I certainly am not against bringing one of them in on a team friendly deal though. But it’s smart not to overpay.

For the most part I agree. I think the team has a lot of faith in Peters the new OL coach anyways even if some Bengals fans think
there is no hope for Volson or Ford or the Kirkland types. These guys so far have been far below pretty average like the FA Guard
market.
