Reds March/April 2025 thread
#61
Reds bats were dead the last two days. I feel bad for the starters, Hunter Greene should be 2-0 right now.

This is the difference between facing a #5 starter and then facing the top 2 starters afterwards.

Tip the cap to the opponent, learn from it and move on. Four big games in Milwaukee starting tomorrow.

This week feels awfully bad.

Made even worse by 0 walks and 18 strikeouts over the last two games.... also both games EDLC with the final at-bat, down 1 run, runner on base. 0-2.

I know it's waayy early, but it sure feels like the same offense as last year. The good news is the Brewers are starting off slow as well.

Their two opponents after one week.
Rangers 5-2 - went 3-1 vs the Red Sox in the first series.
Giants 5-1 - just swept the Astros
NL West is going to be wild
Dodgers 8-0
Padres 7-0
Giants 5-1
Diamondbacks 4-2
Rockies 1-4
Brutal division.
The Reds are tied for 3rd/4th in the Central with the Brewers at 2-4.

Looking good
Oh yea, they were ready to start the season. Maybe we can set a record for losing three games in a row 1-0

It’s like watching the bengals start every season with Zac Taylor as coach.

No need to work on the weak popups . . . they've perfected that.

Steer's exit velocity is tanking. The two balls he put into play today were 80.1mph and 81.9mph.
