If he does not sign they can't trade him late in the season. The deadline to trade unsigned draft picks is 30 days before the first regular season game.

True and it hurt them pretty bad in the ole pocket book.

Shemar should of just signed and tried to be professional. If you don't want to sign because you might do something screwy it shows a lot about you.
Everyone knows Mikey Boy isn't going to budge and it is stupid to try and butt heads with him.

As you claim....I would like to personally thank you for the effort you have put forth interviiewing the millions if bengals fans in the tri state area....have a great day
Well that’s just straight up bullshit. They’re getting almost universally dunked on right now for lowballing Trey on the guaranteed money. It’s the same old M.O. and somehow there will still be people who continue to defend them.

Shemar's agent also doesn't seem like he's going to budge. Not when he goes after Duke Tobin personally ("above his pay grade"). Sounds like the agent is trying to let the world know he is the big dog and increase his public profile --all at the expense of Shemar. If the agent, or Shemar, doesn't give, I don't see this ending well for the agent, who could lose his client millions. Todd McShay was already saying before the draft that NFL teams had concerns about this agent.

I have to believe the Bengals know something about this guy that makes them think the potential for him getting into trouble is there. That said, listening to Mike Brown, he is not going to budge (nor should he). It's time for them to tell Stewart to clear out his locker and send him home. Then they need to sign a Clowney-type veteran with Stewart's money, who has a year or so left in him to rotate with Ossai and Murphy. Let Stewart go home and sit on the couch, waiting for next year, when no one will remember him or his 2.5 college sacks. He can watch the Bengals win the Super Bowl this year (yeah I said it) from his couch and wonder what could have been if he had a real agent.
I've been following this team since year one and I know when MB is dug in. He's got a 10' deep foxhole on this one, and the agent taking shots at Tobin just adds flames to the fire. Screw this guy, we do not need the headaches he brings.

Yeah, no point it butting heads with Mikey Boy. We all know that gets no where.
Extend Trey and bring in Za'Darius Smith.

The shitty part of it unfolding this is way is the 17th pick was wasted instead of being used to contribute to winning ball.

True, this sucks man wasting a first round pick. Should of drafted Starks looking back.

Factually incorrect? Last time I checked, the Bengals haven't even made the playoffs since Burrow got off his rookie deal. Not only did they fail to resign an All Pro caliber player they drafted but they haven't signed any significant free agents in that same time span.

ERIC1 has factually correct subjective opinions. All other views are lesser than Pappy, golf, and his degrees.

The bengals the last 4 years have a top ten winning percentage in the nfl...they sell out every home game and are in the top 5 in the national TV market..facts..Rather than getting into a war with the county..the lease issue was resolved responsibly
As an aside..interestingly..I doubt many teams would have shelled out the money on a quarterback and two receivers like our FO did...and I think this hendickson / stewart situation gets resolved soon
take a deep breath and realize that the FO is doing business much differently than in the past..this constant diminishing of mike brown and or the FO has grown old
Not as old as your grade school trolling, spamming and overall bullshitting.
Hey Eric, could you do me a favor? I've been wondering, how have the bengals been doing over the last 4 years? Have they had any injuries the last couple years? Is there any reason for us to discuss anything right now, or should we wait till Oct/Nov for the team and 3 years from now for draft picks. Do you think Burrow missing games has kept the team from the playoffs recently? Could you hit me up with the broadcast stats and how the team is doing there? What are your thoughts on the teams wanting certain players and the fans wanting different players? You think the Bengals will sign Trey and Shemar or you think they're gone?
Asking for a friend because i haven't seen you weigh in on these subjects yet. Typically, i don't see it till someone weighs in for the 384,991 time and you're just a couple short of that.
So, let me know what you think and...played any golf lately? I'm going to The Stephens Golf Center in Burlington KY tonight with my son, nephew and a buddy to drive some balls off the tee. I'll be there around 6:15 if you wanna stop by with the Pappy.
G'day mate!
