Week 17 Playoff Scenarios

Updated after Monday Night:

• If Denver beats SD then we are the #3 seed regardless of the result against the Ravens (Head to Head tiebreaker favours Denver)
• If Denver loses to SD and we beat the Ravens then we are the #2 seed (We would have the better record: 12-4 vs 11-5)
• If Denver loses to SD and we lose to the Ravens but the Chiefs beat Oakland then we are the #2 seed
• If Denver loses to SD and we lose to the Ravens and the Chiefs lose to Oakland then we are the #3 seed
  

The #1 and #4 seeds are impossible for us to get.

Note that there is no scenario where we can be tied with the Patriots on record and end up the #1 seed.

Well looks like once we take care of business tomorrow night... I will need to get my fins up.

1. Beat Den to clinch #2.

Eh, I think once you start thinking of resting players/etc. you're in trouble. Win the game. This is one of the few points I agree with Marvin on.

Fun fact I hadn't noticed before: if Denver win out and NE lose to the Dolphins then it would be DEN #1, NE #2, CIN #3 and HOU (if they beat the Jags or we beat the Ravens) or IND (they beat the Titans and we lose out and Houston lose to the Jags) would be #4
