Do you just willfully ignore the front office ineptitude and cheapness over the last 34 years? Oh, wait. You haven't been a Bengals fan that long. Now it makes sense. So, you'd have no idea that even back in the '70s and '80s, Paul Brown was widely considered cheap when it came to players. 

I don't know why i even bother refuting people with endless example of their boundless shortcomings. People are going to see and believe what they want to see. Fact and evidence be damned.
