Chase a mere 50 more yards?
Ossai closed the season with a 6 game sack streak. Or at least there was a stretch where he got a sack per game for 5-6 games.... If he starts the season healthy you don't think he can get 2 more? Hell you banked on Murphy getting more than 4...
If Qb's were getting 5k seasons out of 16 games..... And we have a generational talent at QB should we expect him to reach heights only few have reached?
Wilson from all reports is primed for a big year. Don't bet against him having a career year.
Tee needs 6 more TDs to hit the over 15. There have only been 3 instances of >15 receiving TDs in the last DECADE combined. Chase repeating it is not great odds, Tee doing it as a WR2 is almost certainly not going to happen.
The last 55 years (NFL Merger), there have only been 4 other receiving Triple Crowns: Jerry Rice, Sterling Sharpe, Steve Smith Sr, and Cooper Kupp. None of them have produced even more yards the next year.
Ossai had 0.0 sacks against Tennessee, so no he didn't. He still had a very strong end to the season, but he did that while he had Trey Hendrickson taking all of that attention away from him. Murphy I just went ahead and said yes on because I think if he gets a starting workload (as it's looking like he will) that 4.5 sacks isn't impossible (or particularly impressive, 107 guys did that last year) while a >8.0 sack season is a pretty impressive season (only 26 guys did that last year).
QBs throwing for 5k yards generally isn't a good thing. It normally means something is wrong. Over the previous decade, there were 7 5k seasons and 4 of them missed the playoffs.
