Prayers For Brad
TY Pally and Harley for the updates. I always say we live in the best country in the world. The donations for Brad is one more example. Brad has a lot of people praying for him and his family. I hope he starts mends at a rapid pace. It is good he is out of ICU and hopefully they can get him out of bed and moving quickly.

I'm thankful his brother, Mickey, kept giving updates on Brad. We've messaged back & forth a few times, and it's helped ease the concern a bit, knowing how his days have gone. Seeing progress daily has been a good sign. I sent Brad a card today and let him know we are all praying for him and thinking about him. Hope it cheers him up.

Glad to see things are getting better.

I've been thinking of Brad and keeping him in my prayers. That is more pain than any one person should ever have to go through.

Get well soon Brad.

TY for the update Harley. It sounds like he is going through hell. Prayers for him and his family. It sounds like he is going to need God more than ever.

TY surgery in a couple of weeks, but that's a different story for a different day. Glad to hear Brad is on the mend. I just hope this fellow had good insurance. The wheelchair, hospital bills, all that should be on his auto insurance. (Although we know they will fight it for years in court. Insurance companies are scum)

Latest update on Champ:

Quote:Brad Update:

He is out of UC! They transported him via ambulance today to a rehab center which is a big step. To be honest, we are beyond nervous. I am not sure he is ready for this but we are not the healthcare experts. The concern is swith the upkeep of his meds and overall needs. He can’t do much of anything for himself at this point. We have had to live off faith and hope up to this point, and we will continue to do that moving forward. I have a feeling he will sleep better than I do tonight!

Visitors are still limited but more accessible than ICU. We will find out more tomorrow, but they more than likely will put him on some type of schedule. Once we get his available times, we can start coordinating some visits!

This may be my shortest post yet! He has access to his Facebook account so please reach out. He does get very tired and my not repsnd to every message or posts. But I can tell you it’s the best part of my day getting to the smile (and sometimes tears) on his face from hearing from all of you. He feels the love and it’s awesome to see.

Hoping tomorrow is better than today. Keep the prayers coming.

Keep healing, Champ!

Glad he's doing better, the human body is VERY resilient and it shows that even when someone has been through trauma in the past, the body still fights back, great to see.

A bit off-topic, I always roll my eyes when people say, "others would've thrown in the towel." Like, they would've committed suicide? Asked someone to finish them off? Nobody in these situations wants to be mercy-killed, if they have a positive outlook and demeanor like Brad, it's just a dumb thing to say.

But I digress: going from ICU to discharged in a day is fantastic, very encouraging to see!

**** sake I’ve been away from here for a couple of weeks awful news.

Glad to see he’s on the mend but it’s scary how life can just change in a blink of an eye.

Fingers crossed he keeps fighting and makes a full recovery.
