Hayes is in his age 28 season right now, has chronic back issues, and he will cost $36m over the next 5 years.

This is a head scratcher. He's not good at the plate. He's got a not insignificant contract for the rest of the decade. Stafura was just a hair outside the top ten when it comes to organizational prospects.

He'll help the staff in the field, but they really need offensive help. Can't keep running Connor Joe and Receiver Hinds out in critical situations like the ones last night.

I despise that Connor Joe is on the roster.
