Not a top tier guard, but we could probably get one that is better than anything we currently have from a QB needy team.

Nah. Practice squads are littered with guys like Ridder and Browning. If a team is desperate enough to trade for a QB like one of them they’re going to be awful anyway, and might as well just tank.
