Three defensive "starters" who cause me great concern

In his defense, the quote was made when the game was over and the defense's location was not on the field.  I too love when our defense is not on the field.

I totally get it's a preseason game. But those guys just very much seemed to have the deer in the headlights look right from the jump. What wrong with Burks as the starter at LB, put Anderson in at Safety.

And needless to say we need Trey!! I saw a post on social media this morning from M. Strahan, I believe - Bengals pass rush without Trey 32nd in the league. Bengals pass rush with Trey 12th.

Our 1st team defense needs a big kick in the ass and fast.

I agree except for Ossai.  He only played 7 snaps and I feel like he has been solid.  He was the highest rated defensive player (of the starters) in week 1 PS against the Eagles with a 76.8 in 14 snaps.  

The biggest concern for me on defense is at FS, and that is because it will still likely be Geno Stone.  I want Tycen Anderson back there.

But yeah,,,, defense looks like complete ass right now putting it mildly. More than 3 players looking bad,,, quite more than 3 are looking real bad.

I didn’t think that there was any way this year's defense could be worse than last year's. But, the way it looks now that could be a real possibility.
