That's what the Bengals continue to get. Possible #1, which ends up in a #3.
Now, if the Bengals get by the Steelers...their reward is a trip to New England.
Should be used to the taste by now.

Both are pretty beatable.
You're going to face that level of competition on your way to the big dance, one way or another.

Maybe with a competent head coach.

This actually is true, both are very beatable. We go as far as McCarron takes us. It's that simple.

If they can get by the Steelers, I'd expect Dalton to be ready in 2 weeks. I'd like the chances better in NE with him. Patriots will be healthy by then.

You just knew the seeding was going to work out that way. The only way San Diego would have won that game was if we needed Denver to win to get a bye.
It's not over, of course, it just feels that way.

The steelers lost their starting RB , threw two INTs and barely got by the browns. The pats lost to the juggernaut that is the miami dolphins. Our Bengals took the #1 seed, with the #1 D to OT in their house with our 2nd string QB. Why should we be scared?

The way the O played? You mean the same O that threw for 2 TDs and ran for another?
Let's hope for no 3rd down conversions and a win again next week.

My money says Hue has a new wrinkle for the Steelers, too.
The only thing that worries me is our D getting too wrapped-up in the hype and committing too many penalties.

Hey bring on anyone. You never know.
I ain't cryin'. Bring em' on.
Short fields and a busted 4th down play aren't the norm.
Just saying they weren't efficient consistently.

The Bengals will need a good game to beat Pittsburgh. One game at a time. Look to New England later.

Another shit sandwich to chew on...
Thanks to Russell Wilson's ridiculous late season surge, Dalton will not win the passing title.
*burp*

Hold on a second while i go back and try to find the word "scared".

Nope. Never said scared. Just pointing out another example of another team going and taking something better than what they currently have (see the RW surge for the passing title too) while the Bengals just try to strengthen their grip on what they already have.
Heaven forbid someone wants better than what they've had for so long.

So you're saying that once the Bengals beat the Steelers then Patriots, we'll get to either double up on Kansas City, or get revenge on Houston or Denver.
That doesn't sound like much of a turd sandwich to me.

If we can get through the Steelers, we can make a run for it.
If we can't... Well, props to the better team.
