Al is awesome !
Was supposed to see him in concert a few years back, but he cancelled.

I've seen him around 6 times.  Last time, last year, I got to take my son and nephew.  Lots of fun.  He puts on a great show.

If Bengals fans lowered their expectations that would simply make them steeler fans.

Why would fans of the NFL's flagship franchise have low expectations?

That sounds like you've conceded to the possibility of losing.
I'm hoping for a good game too...the complete annihilation of the bengals.

But they were kind of stunned that the Steelers are favorites at this point.

Stunned??? The ****??? I swear the IQ level just continues to plummet in this world...

Back-up QB with 3 games under his belt, going into the playoffs and people are stunned that team is the under dog??? Maybe evolution is a lie, seems the dumb ones are surviving.

Next time I find a Packer fan, I will ask them. Might have something to do with losing to the Vikings though. What does that have to do with Saturday? Good to see you found your way out of PnR for the playoffs......maybe next season you'll hang for all 17 weeks here?  Hilarious

I've been here intermittently.  I was around all the time on the old board.  Quite honestly most of you guys suck at this and it's not that fun to post in smack talk.  So, in short, no, I probably won't be around all 17 weeks next season or any after.

Leave the Mike Browns of the world out of this.  Ninja

Anyway, the Steelers have been inconsistent, have their worst defense in years, just had their back up turned starting RB get injured in the last game of the season, the Bengals are getting a bunch of defensive players back from injury.  The Bengals are playing at home after a 12 win season.  The Steelers need the Jets to lose jsut to get in to the playoffs.

Yep. No reason for the Steelers to NOT be a favorite.   Mellow

I'm assuming you are smart enough to know how Vegas Sportsbooks operate, correct? As someone who visits vegas too often, I am all too familiar. Vegas doesn't choose the spread based on what they think the outcome of the game will be. Vegas spreads are based on the prediction of BETTING (hint: that's how they make money). Given that Pittsburgh has a widespread fan base, you can imagine that more Steelers fans will be betting than bengals fans...And...the widespread national view of the Bengals as playoff pushovers probably doesn't help. So yes, anyone with a brain would assume the Steelers would start as a favorite. Doesn't mean they will end there.

Go to statistician sites if you want an objective look at the predicted results...

You've confused flagship with bandwagon.

Got to see him this past August.  Totally agree that he puts on a good show.  He was well into a grueling tour, but the show still had tons of energy. Very well done.

And the dude is 56.  It amazes me.

Like I said, I'm a big fan.  Have been since 1981 or so.  So I'll refrain from going on and on about him and just post this:

(Edit for correction....wrong tour.)

Someone in line before me gave it to him with some Twinkies!  I failed to bring dear leader a gift.  Sad
