Two Reasons Marvin Needs To Go

And you're reasoning is way off. How much a rookie plays doesn't determine how good the HC is, wins do and wins in the playoffs mean more.

At least you could have waited to find out if Marv is going to get a playoff win in Cinci this year or not. A playoff win with your backup QB against your hated rival would have to rank high in the world of coach value. Certainly would rank higher than how much a 4th round pick got onto the field.

For all the reasons I have ever read that Marvin needs to go this is the worst, and that includes "He needs to go because he chuckles during interviews" and " He needs to go because he uses weather analogies for injury updates".

Nobody else other than Marvin is responsible for these guys getting so little exposure.

I think Paul Dawson and Marcus Hardison are Duke Tobin picks. Marvin just doesn't do a good job using them. .

Ok,, how about go back in time to Dre.. he did not see the field his 1st year at all... and now where is he ?  It is called depth and who gives you the best chance of winning at the time.

You dont understand much about this do you...

We have a 7-8 man DL rotation you can only have 46 guys active each game day.

Not everyone is gonna get playing time.. Why play a rookie in a game when the other guys ahead of him on the depth chart are playing at a higher level?

You play your best players and let the rookies develop in practice. their job is to be ready if needed... and a 4th rounder isnt a High draft pick

A Key understanding of how this all works will help you avoid thread failures in the future. but its par for course i guess from your other post.

I'm pretty sure that Guenther has more input on who starts on defense - as well as the positional coaches.

I really don't understand your post at all.  Why would we put guys in if they aren't ready?  Makes no sense at all.  This team isn't 2-14, so there's no need for playing guys "just to see what they can do."

We haven't had a meaningless game this year.  Even the Ravens game was important for possible playoff seeding.  When do you want to get these guys in the game?  One game (as we saw this year) can determine whether or not a team finished with the #1 seed and a bye or the #3 seed.  That's too slim of a margin of error to tinker with the lineup.
