Palmer wins a playoff game before we do under Lewis

I find total apathy to be a much better response.

I'm ok with it.

If it makes any of the Palmer-dissenters feel any better the experts are pretty much "shoulda" thrown 4 or 5 INTs and lost. Not sure why they don't mention Rodgers getting bailed out of a 100 yard pick six on an unrated 5=yard penalty, but hey...dude's a HOF so meh.

Perhaps the NFC Championship game features the 4-INT meltdown we've been predicting for Palmer for the past 2 years or so.

He probably would have won one with the Bengals if he wasn't a 'Quitter'! Wink

Palmer had a 92.4 in his first playoff game in another uniform.

He had a 101 here on that 1 pass...

If he had just stayed... idk. but thats the pass

Palmer is 5 years gone time to let him go.

Injuries are blamed too much. Gotta still put up some wins. Can't be used so much.

Bengals were without much of their star power last year 2014 and still put up 10 wins

Excellent point.  Palmer's been gone awhile.  Who knows what he would have done here if he stayed.  His attitude may have drug the whole team down into another prolonged ditch for all we know.

I'll take the win all day, we've had 4 different QB's take a crack at the playoffs, Kitna, Palmer, McCarron, and Dalton. I don't care how you win, JUST WIN.

I hate Palmer too. But I am also a REALLY big Fitzgerald fan. And I also like Arians as well.

But I want Manning to get one last Super Bowl win and go out on top.

I don't hate Palmer, but I do think he's kind of a doosh. I'm a huge fan of Fitzgerald and Arians though. Also my uncle lives in Phoenix and is a huge Cards fan.

That said, I kinda want to pull for the Panthers. Those guys got next to zero respect this year. People were saying they were the worst 8-0, 10-0, 12-0 team of all-time, all the experts picked them to lose to the Seahawks, etc. Also, I think Cam gets such a bad rep for no reason. He has fun out there, and he does some really good stuff off the field anonymously.

Seriously, Cam Newton is a good dude. People hate him for TD celebrations. It's so silly. Does anyone hate Rodgers for the wrestling belt celebrations?

He's freakishly good, getting better every year and is a good dude.  Some people can't come to terms with that combination.

I never take NFL fans criticizing celebrations seriously anyways...I mean, have you  ever seen what an NFL fan does when his team scores a TD?

I'm pulling for Manning and the Broncos. Just a big fan of Manning and think it would be a good way to end his career.

I have Carolina and Arizona tied for rooting for. I like the Panthers as a whole, but Fitzgerald is my favorite receiver besides Green. Class act all the way around.

Then the Pats.

This.

92.4 passer rating and the pack was bringing some high end pressure.

What killed me was the "shovel cat" ftw

copied and pasted from my facebook rt after the game....

larry ***** fitzgerald!!  and my hardcore bengal fans know the irony and heartbreak that come from watching palmer pull a shovel cat for a playoff victory.  God hates my guts

I wouldn't mind Peyton going out on top. Honestly, I'll take anything but the Patriots winning yet again. The endless Brady/Belichick slobbering is already at nauseating levels, so just imagine if they win a 5th title.  Sick

I like Peyton and I think the Broncos beat the pats.  I think we'd have beat their ass if we hadn't got jobbed/choked against pitt.

Either way, the winner of that NFC title game is winning the Super Bowl.  Best chance the AFC had was us and we blew it.

I also think there was a totally decent chance that division rival KC would have knocked Denver off and we'd have been hosting the title game.

Yea, yea, lot of ifs and buts but whatever.  Should have moved Marvin into F.O. and made Zimmer the HC back when Minnesota was trying to snatch him.  I'd say hindsight is 20/20 but plenty of us wanted that to happen.

I never liked what all happened in college with Newton,, and it just cared over to the pros for me.  He seems to be a love or hate type of player for many people such as me.

Manning I have always liked from college to pros.. so im rooting for him to achieve his 2nd title and go off into the sunset.

See, I live in Steeler country and the people around here just HATE Brady and Bellichick, so every year when the Bengals are out of it I just HAPPEN to break out the Corey Dillon Pats jersey.  MWA HA HA.

Honestly I agree with your if's and buts. We were the best team in the AFC, I have little doubt about it.

I feel ya there. Steelers fans hate the Pats. I've just always been a "root for the underdog" kind of guy. I like variety and the Pats are the opposite of variety. 15 years and 10 conference title games? The sooner Bill and Brady retire, the better for parity in the AFC.
