???
The Bengals have had problems covering the TE for YEARS... like, literally, it's been a glaring weakness often lamented on this board since 2008 ( I wasn't here before that, so I can't speak to it). But we match up well against Gronk?
...And you do know Burfict would be suspended for the game in question? Literally, in fact, you pointed out the two biggest reasons we would not win that game...

Consider that had it been a blowout the Steelers fans would have given up early on. The way it went, them having the lead and then surrendering it, hurt them much, much worse than had it been a blowout. They had the victory. It was so close they could taste it. The AFC Championship game, just beckoning off in the distance. Just to be yanked away at the end.
Does it beat us playing this weekend? Hell, no. But it's what we have.

In a way that makes it worse for me. The AFC picture was so weak this year, we seriously had the team to go all the way. We don't have the mentality to get it done though, we're miles off on that front.

It was as if a million Steelers fans suddenly cried out and then were silent.

It was a pretty boring game really. Pittsburgh led most of the game and the Denver O looked stagnant. A Pittsburgh fumble turned it around for Denver. Oh, and Big Ben was exaggerating his injury, as usual.
As irrational as it may have been, I had a slight fear of a 2005 scenario. We keep hoping they lose, and they never do. Glad that's not going to happen.
