Winter is such an ugly time of year. Everything is just so grey and there's hardly any color out there. While there are times when snow can make things look absolutely beautiful and ice in a wood can be breath taking, most of the time, it's just ugly.
COME ON SPRING!!!
Song of Solomon 2:15
Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.

This is honestly a weak winter. Old Man only showed up a week or so ago. Up here in Cleveland, January is the coldest month. i.e., he's on his way out soon. Late start, early finish.
This year has been way milder than the last two temperature wise. I work outside 75% of the time. I am not complaing about this winter at all. I havent even put my snow plow on my 4 wheeler yet.

I feel like the last two winters were anomalies for this area. The polar vortex thing was just downright chilling.
This winter is more on par for what constitutes as a "normal" winter around here.

Cold weather builds character, grandad used to say. So far this winter has been nothing. I don't want two feet of snow, but some snow would be nice.
