Senior Bowl Week
#1
All the festivities kick off tomorrow (1/26/2016) with weigh-ins at 08:30 and culminates with the game Saturday (1/30/2016) with 1:30 kick off.

NFL Network will be showing a 1 hour prime time wrap up show on Tuesday, Wednesday. and Thursday. With ESPNU hosting 2 hour shows on Wednesday and Thursday.

Needless to say lots of big-time prospects here:

I'm definitely looking forward to the dlines practice.

Deion Jones is way lighter than I expected.  May drop him to our part of the third round...  I love the way he plays, but I'd want him to be at least 235 to take him in the 2nd.  Most people have him going in the third.  Hope they're right

I wonder if it might not hurt his chances, teams saw how much of an impact Deone Bucannon can make for AZ and he's 6'1 215

I really like the way he plays.  He seems smart, fast and tackles with a thump.  He'd add another smart intimidating player to our defense.

That size and performance last week (didn't watch most of the game but heard the buzz about practice) is intriguing me. Need to still see game film.

Really interested in seeing him at OLB this week.

I really wish we had the same coverage from NFL Network like the previous years.

Glasgow just got murdered by Rankins.
He might need to find a new jersey/helmet for a few days.
Not gonna hear the end of it.

I'm sure Todd McShay will be there. Probably Kiper as well.

Thrilling.

My man crush on Shawn Oakman is probably only going to get worse. I still dont see how we pass up on a guy with the physical traits of a top 5 pick at 24.

His game film.

I was a huge Oakman fan but he's somehow gotten worse the longer he was at Baylor.

I haven't seen him listed as a 1st rounder anywhere. Rumor has it that he was going to declare last year until the draft committee projected him as a mid round pick. I'm still seeing him projected as 2nd-4th rounder.

Anyone remember what website it was that had game films of just about every major prospect?

Nevermind. I found it. Draftbreakdown.com is by far my favorite website this time of year.

Looks like Glascow rebounded.  It's early in the practices to tell much, and he's being featured as a guard.  But he's an interesting guy we might be able to pick up in the mid rounds

http://walterfootball.com/seniorbowl2016practice.php

·  Michigan center/guard Graham Glasgow was one of the stars of the East-West Shrine, and he had a respectable first day at the Senior Bowl. He split one-on-one pass-rushing reps with Louisville defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins. When Rankins used a speed rush to try to run by Glasgow, the Wolverine just pummeled him into the turf with authority. On the rematch, Rankins burned Glasgow with a spin move. Still, it is impressive for a center to be able to block a defensive tackle in one-on-ones as centers are typically helping to execute a double team on a sub-package interior rusher. Glasgow is having a tremendous postseason to set his draft stock on fire.
·  A good contrast could be seen in Missouri center/guard Evan Boehm. He was absolutely abused by Rankins with a speed rush. Alabama's Jarran Reed overwhelmed Boehm with power, and he was incapable of keeping Reed from charging down the pocket. Boehm really struggled in his first Senior Bowl practice.

Sheldon Day and Jihad Ward look good in drills.

You got your 3 and 5 techs right there.
