Love the accents. They're practically a character all by themselves.

When you spend a lot of time driving around all day, and you have a bunch of movies on a laptop, thumb drives and on disk, it's easy to do.
And i will add some Pegg'ers.
Shaun of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
The Worlds End
and
This is the End
Love both Shaun and Hot Fuzz and seen them both at least a dozen times.
When they are on I find myself getting sucked into watching them.
The World's End was promising but lacked a bit IMO.
I agree with Paul which was mentioned by a previous poster. Like that one too.

Can't say enough how I love the dialogue exchanges in that movie.
Dennis Leary and Kevin Spacey are a classic combo of vitriol.

Holy shit I can't believe no one has said The Princess Bride or Holy Grail.
Two of the most quotable comedies out there.
The Rock I've seen a bunch of times. Probably the best Cage movie besides Raising Arizona.

The build up for that movie is so good. Kinda fell flat for me in the end, but overall it was one of the better more unique horror movies.

Like when the kid's legs snapped back and he ran away? Are we really gonna be taken over by horse aliens?

I think you're thinking of a different movie. The movie you just discribe was about an alien race taking over the Earth and pumping co2 into the atmosphere to warm the planet up. I can't remember the name though and believe its a one word title.
Wasn't Event Horizon with Lawrence Fishburn?

Well, lot of mine have been mentioned already:
Harry Potter Series
Hobbit trilogy
LOTR trilogy
Star Wars (any and all)
MCU movies (except Hulk, forget that noise)
Serenity
A number of Christmas movies that I ritually watch each year
And for the ones not mentioned, View Askewniverse films (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, J&SB Strike Back, Clerks II, and two more to come).
It's funny, I outgrew a lot of my favorite movies from my younger years. Beerfest, Van Wilder, stuff like that used to be high on my list, but I can't watch them anymore.

Event Horizon was with Larence Fisburn.
It was a movie where a Search and Rescue crew are dispatched to Neptune to locate the ship Event Horizon which had gone missing 7 years prior. when it tried to create a blackhole...
There were no kids on board i remember unless it was one of their hallucinations.
movie with kids backwards legs was the arrival i believe. which if its the movie im thinking the alien had a flappy head thingy.
