Fresh has had two seasons back to back with 3 fumbles too. This isn't the first time either had those kind of numbers. You keep compairing just the #1 and the TE too. Cam has had an all around better offense around him most years. That fact is going to change soon though, because he's been losing guys, and next year we will have a much better offense.
In Olsen's previous 5 seasons as full-time starter, he averaged 643 yards. He had 1008 last year. He set career high's in targets (12 better than his previous best), yards (165 more than his previous best) and catches (11 more than his previous best). This in his 8th season in the NFL. I call that an anomaly and I'd bet that he's closer to 700-800 yards this season.
Gresh's production was closer to normal for him, but his yards/catch was a career low (7.4) and his yards per game was also a career low (30.7). Even though I'm not the biggest Gresh fan, you can usually expect 500+ yards of production from him in a full season.
I've already told you why I'm only comparing the WR and TE. I think the rest is a wash:
Lafell = Simpson/Binns/Tate/MLJ/Sanu
JStew/DWill = CedBen/BJGE/Gio/Hill
Their RB's were quite clearly better than ours in 2011. Not so much in 2012 and 2013. Last year, our RB's were easily better. Over the course of the last 4 years, it's been pretty equal. Here's the rushing stats with the QB's rushing totals subtracted (ypc in parenthesis):
Bengals
2011: 418-1626-9 (3.89)
2012: 383-1625-7 (4.24)
2013: 420-1572-12 (3.74)
2014: 432-1978-15 (4.58)
Totals: 6801 yards - 4.11 ypc - 43 TDs
Panthers
2011: 319-1702-12 (5.34)
2012: 335-1347-13 (4.02)
2013: 372-1441-8 (3.87)
2014: 370-1497-5 (4.05)
Totals: 5987 yards - 4.29 ypc - 38 TDs
I don't see how you could really view these totals and think that Cam had a better run game behind him. In 2011, sure, but it looks like we were better or at least equal in each of the last 3 years.

I don't think either of them are really that good, but I'd probably rather have Andy.
That's really not saying much though...I think Kaepernick might be the most overrated QB of the last several years..

Olsen has averaged 722 yards a season the past 5 seasons. You shorted him by almost 100 yards. Gresham has averaged 544, but unlike Olsen, Gresham has been going on down hill with his stats. But all in all we pretty much have a close opinion about it, just I think that the slight edge would be in Cam's favor, and you think that the slight edge would be in Dalton's favor.
Also, don't you think it's funny the only year you agree with me that Cam had better weapons is the only year he out produced Dalton in stats? Not to mention that Cam is in a much much weaker division. Personally I think Cam is way over hyped (like I said earlier I think he's good, but nothing amazing like people who constantly put him in top 10 lists thinks he is), and obviously you know that I think that Dalton is way under rated.

I didn't short Olsen. I said "previous 5 seasons" as in the previous 5 before his 1000 yard season.

I will say Kaep working with Warner is noteworthy. If anything because he didn't turn to House.

Exactly. Way more upside on CK, and he's not going to do much worse than Dalton worst case. Nothing to lose here.

Dalton and a 3rd rounder for Kaepernick? No thank you. Only very stupid people or whiners would make that trade.
