Not a big deal as far as the other stuff we see, but the justice system does not look kindly on it at all.  People actually serve jail time for it.

You all would be surprised how many drug/weapon charges start with an arrest for driving on suspended.  On a standard traffic stop the Police usually do not have probable cause to search you for drugs.  But once you are placed under arrest they can search you and the passenger compartment of your car.

Lots of people get busted for drugs/weapons just because they have a bad license.
