Let me guess the Bengals are the guy in red that bites it at the finish. Which is typically our approach, don't pursue any actual free agent who may fill an immediate need, and sift through the garbage at the end of free agency. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't.

No not really as my guess his contract is team friendly and can be cut after camp without penalty
So, he and guys like TJ Johnson are low risk signings and cost no cap dollars right now really, they have to make the team
