TITANS are On The Clock
#1
RD 1 PK 1 TENNESSE TITANS
The Titans shored up their need at Running Back by trading for DeMarco Murray. They have also made minor moves at WR and interior Oline; but their needs are still many. They appear to have the biggest need at OT, DE, CB, and Safety. So here are their 6 options:

LAREMY TUNSIL/OT  http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/laremy-tunsil?id=2555201
From a talent and technique standpoint, Tunsil is easily cleanest offensive lineman in the 2016 draft and might be the cleanest prospect period. Tunsil lacks pure power, but has the body control to be a quality run blocker in space and on levels. Ultimately, his feet, technique and instincts could make him an all-pro and one of the top pass protectors in the NFL.

RONNIE STANLEY/OT  http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/ronnie-stanley?id=2555204
Three-year starter with the outstanding foot quickness and pass protection talent expected from an early round left tackle prospect. While Stanley’s core power is still a concern, he showed improved strength and run blocking prowess this year and should be ready to come in and start right away for a team looking to protect a high-end quarterback.

JALEN RAMSEY/DB  http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/jalen-ramsey?id=2555280
Press cover corner with disruptive length to fluster receivers and the makeup speed/leaping ability to stymie downfield attacks. Ramsey made more plays on the ball from the slot last year, but his ability to jam and trail receivers limited playmaking opportunities this year. Ramsey has all-pro potential and traits.

VERNON HARGREAVES/CB  http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/vernon-hargreaves?id=2555299
Hargreaves has a level of suddenness and explosiveness in his movements that should always have him near the ball. With top-notch ball skills and exceptional instincts that drew praise from Alabama's Nick Saban, Hargreaves possesses the football makeup to become a Pro Bowl cornerback.

DEFOREST BUCKNER/DE  http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/deforest-buckner?id=2555275
Buckner has the body type of a classic 3-4 defensive end who can control the point of attack with length and power, but he has above average pass rush potential for that position which figures to push him into the early stages of round one. Buckner has similar power to former teammate Arik Armstead, but is a much better pass rusher and has a chance to become a dominant force in the NFL.

JOEY BOSA/DE  http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/joey-bosa?id=2555249
Body beautiful college end who has the talent and upside to play with a hand down or standing in the pros. Bosa might not have the pure edge speed to be an elite pass rusher, but his hand usage and ability to generate push as a bull-rusher should make him a very good 4-3 base end or a 3-4 outside linebacker. Bosa has a few more flaws than some may be willing to admit and his upside might be good rather than great, but his traits and growth potential as a player make him a safe selection.

Went with Tunsley. I believe Ramsey is the best player in the draft, but they need to keep Mariota upright. Build around your young QB and let him flourish.

He was sacked 38 times and only played in 12 games. Well, kind of 11 since he only threw 6 passes against the Patriots. But that's still a crazy high number.

He's the right choice, I just don't know where to put Lewman.

Can he play RT? Even still, that's 3 first round Olineman in 4 years, HUGE investment but for their sake it may be the only one.

Are you asking if Tunsil can play RT? Or Lewan?

Lewan is the one bright spot on that offensive line. I'm surprised Warmack has somewhat disappointed thus far.

Hard choice.   They need to protect Mariotta.

But from what I've heard Ramsey is a rare talent in every dimension of the game.  When you have the first pick in the draft you need to get the best talent in the draft.  This year it's Ramsey followed (IMHO) by Jack.   You have to go with that.

There going to be playing Luck and Bottles for the next ten years. You need a dominant pass rush to slow them down. Went with Buckner.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Lewan.

I haven't watched nearly enough Titans film to formulate an opinion, but word is he's disappointed. Never started at RT at Michigan.

Bring in Tunsil now you have two LTs, who moves?

If people are saying that Lewan is disappointing then they haven't been watching him at all. That offensive line is dreadful outside of him. He's the one lone bright spot.

I saw that the Titans would be willing to move Lewan, so could see him move. Tunsil is more atheltic and fast, Lewan has better size and strength.

Tunsil. They need to protect their franchise QB.

I went with Tunsil as well. There will be quality defensive prospects at the top of the second round.

I must say I am impressed with the voter turn out and hopefully when can kick this draft forum into high gear. This has always been one of my favorite time of year on the message board. Like most everyone else I went with Tunsil although I think they will do everything they can to trade it to a team that wants to jump Cleveland (49ers?)for a QB. WTS I need some names thrown out for the next pick (Browns) when you vote.

Names for Cleveland pick: QB Jared Goff, QB Carson Wentz, DE Deforest Buckner, CB Jalen Ramsey, S Myles Jack, OT Ronnie Stanley, DE Joey Bosa or RB Ezekiel Elliott.

Even if they trade down a little I believe one of the above will be Cleveland's pick. They need basically every position, so they'll go with the player that has the best chance to be a franchise cornerstone for years to come.
