Says alot about a player who comes back from a not so good season and is tearing it up. Cozart is another pleasant surprise so far, at least offensively.

Maybe it's just me, but these no-hitters are becoming routine.. 16-0? Wow.. Hard to believe that we're not in dead last place. It ain't saying much about the Brewers..

I'm trying hard to keep some faith, but it's quickly beginning to look like the Reds are gonna be what everybody said they were gonna be - a bad team.
It's still very early, I hope they can find some magic somewhere.

They need more than just some magic. They need every other team to just fall apart, perhaps death to not keep losing.. I know! Management, ownership and players who know something about baseball.

They are who we thought they were...going to be.

Hoover can give up 2 runs an inning and lower his ERA. Just saying.

On the other hand, if I had a lot more money and the grapes to wager it, I'd bet they don't finish anywhere near .500.

With Simon pitching today at least I'd take the bet they finish around .250 for the season..if that.
7 runs in 2.x innings.. CLEARLY they're in desperate need of pitching..

With coming in dead last for a few years one might think they could stock the minors so deep they would win for 10 years, but they just don't have the ownership nor the management willing nor able to pay for the top talent and keep them.

Simon has now gone 9 1/3 innings, allowed 21 hits, 6 walks, and 19 runs, 17 earned.

Bullshit. Look at the contracts Phillps, Bailey, and Votto got. |
