Ex Bengal David Douglas dead at 52

Played 40 games with Bengals from 1986 to 1988 and was on the 88 Bengals team that went to Super Bowl XXIII.

Also played 16 games with the Patriots in 1989 & 1990.

Died of Brain cancer Friday morning.

Saw on Facebook and wanted to pass along.

52 is way too young to go. May he rest in peace, and prayers for his family and friends.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

He died back in late February apparently, and this was the first I'd heard of it. I do remember hearing about the death of his son Aaron (unbelievably right at five years ago) from an accidental drug overdose, who was an offensive lineman for Alabama. That family has really been put through it.
