On a side note, whatever you do, do NOT look who was taken 4 picks later than Briscoe in the 2010 draft.
Which is why he would not have qualified for the DB award... And we probably would have let him go to Tampa Bay where he would have languished at the tail end of their roster and faded into obscurity resulting our going to the Super Bowl last year and Tez receiving the Walter Payton award.
We almost always take a WR in the 6th or 7th round since Marv took over.
2005: Tab Perry
2006: Bennie Brazell
2008: Mario Urritia
2009: Freddie Brown
2010: Dez Briscoe
2011: Ryan Whalen
2013: Cobi Hamilton
2014: James Wright
2015: Mario Alford
2016: Cody Core
I like the Core pick and he has good measurables for a late round guy, but looking over this list, I'm not going to get my hopes up unless he actually shows something in a game.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

Crap, we coulda had like 10 "could be Tom Brady" QBs in those rounds!

This reminds me of so many 90s-era Bengals that looked awesome in practice. I would say: "sure, he is playing against our offense or our defense", anyone looks good against them". My how times have (thankfully) changed.

Yeah this guy has a good rep, and I didn't hear about anyone else beating him. So for now my fantasy = reality.

It is also his initials: Cody Dylan Core
Got the Code for Cody part and should have connected the red zone part but did not.
But these codes are standard in hospitals and believe it would cause confusion. We just react upon hearing what code is announced. A lot of folks work in the industry.
Maybe Code Zone Red.I
Still like Hard Core the best.
