Hiccup in service?

I couldn't help but notice that for the better part of the day today, that the board was "unavailable". Was this an intentional shut down, like for maintenance? Or was this some sort of unfortunate occurrence?

I don't mean to be nosy, but just found it a bit curious. I'm sure that others are wondering, as well.

It wasn't a planned downtime, but we did run into a glitch during an update. The issue was fixed and we're back to normal.

When I first saw it, I thought that I was banned for some reason.
Started going over in my mind what I could've done.

Wasn't sure if it was an issue with the host, which got me wondering if there was a donation page for those of us who appreciate all the mods do and want to help chip in for the costs of this site.
