I have a few comments: 1) Don't knock Phil Collins - he's timeless https://youtu.be/IeDMnyQzS88 2) Married with Children is still good - another timeless classic 3) Night Court arguably was what made Seinfeld possible.

Some might split hairs with this one, released in September 1979, peaked on the charts in 1980. The Sugarhill Gang set the stage for a whole new genre.
