Most of the selection members come from the print media, so what does the NFL controlling the distribution of their product on television have to do with anything?  Hell, Hobson is a member of the selection committee.

You can probably count Hobspin as a big fat "no" vote for "the Ocho". The guy works for a franchise that's never respected their former greats. It's probably a big reason why our fans are so fickle with who they respect. Heck, our current players (including AJ Green) have shown far more respect for Chad than anyone else within the organization.

It'd be nice if guys like Chad could at least be inducted to a team HOF.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

It would be very nice if the team did something for its former players, but that is a subject that has been talked to death... if the Jacksonville Jaguars can have a ring of honor, then this franchise certainly should.

Chad was 3 more productive years away from the HOF

2750 more yards

250 more catches

15 more TDs would have probably done it.

As it stands, he left the game like a jackass. He has as much of a chance at getting into the hall fame as I do getting into Selena Gomez tonight.
