But Joe Thomas is old and still there, and will also be reitred before they are competitive. Sso he must still be a good player, unlike Dansby and Gilbert, according to the poster's logic.

This can go on and on, but the logic can't change from the statement.  It is either true or false.

I say it is clearly false, which means that we cannot say that Gilbert won't work out for the Steelers.  Much like the fact that Nelson didn't work out for the Jags, but he turned into a hell of a player here.

That logic will then imply that Dansby is also not good, as the Browns moved on from him as well.

In reality, Dansby is a good player, so there is still a possibility that Gilbert can be a good player, despite Cleveland trading him.

Has Dansby been impressing anyone yet?
