I'm not so sure that he's better than Clarke or Hunt at this point. It'd be a nice surprise if he were, but it's been a long time since he's racked up a lot of sacks.

Wouldn't surprise me if he was brought back, especially if Brandon Thompson doesn't return. Going into the last half of the season, and especially the last quarter when players wear down a bit will help the entire line by reducing the number of snaps for some.
Some say you can place your ear next to his, and hear the ocean ....

Don't think Gilberry is any better than Clarke has looked so far this year.
Gilberry hasn't been good now for like 2.5 years. ____________________________________________________________

What happened to him in Detroit?
But yeah. He hasn't done shit but bump Joey Porter since the season opener in 2014.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

I'd be fine with bringing him back to have another guy in rotation. Used sparingly enough, I think he could be very productive, and he's used to playing with this D line.....

Yeah let's bring in washed up vets instead of getting our young guys experience.

Maybe we can bring back GilBERRY and 'member when we had a good defense.

Not sure he offers much more than what we are getting out of our current players anymore. After combining for 14 sacks in 2012 and 2013 he then logged 1.5 sacks in 2014 and 2 in 2015. In four games played with the Lions this year he registered 5 total tackles and 0 sacks.

This will give our Dline a major boost.

Interesting tidbit at the end of that article that says the Patriots just signed Matt Lengel....

If we are counting on Gilberry to save the D we are in a lot of trouble.
