Bengals@Ravens Predictions

The Browns could beat us as sad as that may seem. Terrelle Pryor was hurt the last time we played them as well as their rookie WR Coleman and Joe Haden.  I'm assuming the odds of us scoring on another hail mary touchdown are slim to none, plus the guy who caught it, A.J. Green , might not be ready to play by then.  If I were them I would start their 5th string qb Holgan ? and just run the qb option it will prob take us a whole half to figure out how to stop it guy had like 100 yards rushing against us last time  Hilarious. this teams last win was against Cleveland and it was the least convincing win I've seen vs a terrible team.

We can only hope....

I predict the Bengals win 20-17. 3 TD's for the Bengals (with one missed PAT)-2 rushing scores from Hill, one rushing score from Dalton. And Justin Tucker will miss a 40 yard field goal that would have sent the game into OT. Wouldn't that be ironic!?

We win 21-20 by scoring three touchdowns and a field goal.

Lots of predictions here that are influenced by emotion, which is understandable. The Bengals don't often lose big to teams not named the Patriots though. Fwiw, I think the Bengals will win this week. Here's why:

1. As bad as we've looked at times, our losses have been mostly close. At some point, one has to break our way.
2. The Ravens aren't a good team. 2-0 vs the Browns and 2-5 vs everyone else.
3. The Bengals haven't lost to the Ravens since November 10th, 2013...in overtime. That was the hail Mary game. We've won 5 straight.
4. The last time we played them without AJ Green (2014), we won 27-24. Dalton went 21/28 for 266 yards and 2 rushing TDs.
5. Flacco sucks against the Bengals. Career 71.9 passer rating, with 19 INTs in 15 games.

I'm not guaranteeing a win, but I do think we eke this one out. 24-21 sounds about right. Nugent even hits a FG (out of 3 attempts).

All this said, one thing worries me right now, and that is Dalton's throwing shoulder. He's been nursing that injury for a couple weeks, and it coincides with his recent slump.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
