Congrats!

Most won't remember me but I used to be a regular on these boards back in the day. Anyway, due to some unfortunate health problems, I've been in and out of a coma for the past 8 or 9 years. As soon as I fully regained my senses and memory, I made it my first priority to stop here and congratulate all you Bengal fans on your Super Bowl wins.

Now I haven't actually gotten around to checking how many, against who or anything like that but I know one thing....the way we used to throw smack at each other around here, I'm certainly glad I had problems and wasn't around to witness all that Bengal greatness you all promised way back when. So here I am...to eat crow and say congratulations....you certainly deserve it. My only hope now is that you didn't pass up my Steelers in overall titles.

Because if you did.... I wished I had died...

Welcome back and glad that you are ok.
If I remember correctly, Joe from Flo had a nervous breakdown back when Carson skipped out on the team. Haven't heard from him since which is a shame because he appeared to be a pretty cool guy. That Denny dude was alright too. Hope they both are alright.

Oh yeah... I remember you now. You're the guy whose posts suck.

I'm glad that whole coma thing cleared up for ya though. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

It doesn't matter. The Browns will screw the pick up just like they always do.

And the Bengals last couple drafts have been so fantastic.

At least we haven't had 137 different QB's in the last 10-15 years.  LMAO

Seriously?  You guys bought his coma bit?  He had a series of posts on this board a little more than a year ago.  LOL

No. I'm just glad he's ok. The world can be a dangerous place for the mentally deficient.

But you do have ZERO playoff wins in that time frame. [Image: 4b7a0565d7618996158b_1.gif]

To be fair, most Steeler fans are in a coma.

And you've had 0 playoff APPEARANCES!

I'll take regular season success over being the Factory of Sadness any day.

0-7 W-L in playoffs,

What the hell are you laughing at? The browns don't have a single win and they've been, by far, the most pathetic franchise in the last 20 years. Count em. ONE double digit winning season in the last 20 and only TWO seasons with a winning record. NINE straight seasons of less than 8 wins and 13 of the last 14.

You have NOTHING to laugh at when it comes to any other team.

Wow! Someone who wants to compare records when one team has existed for a much longer time.

We'll pretend (more on that?) it is the Browns who have.

Bengals first season was in 1968. If my count is correct that leaves Bengals with 14 playoff appearances and the Brownies 13 during the time the Bengals have existed. Okay, so the Browns didn't exist for 3 years. Don't worry, the Bengals certainly didn't pad those or any other numbers during that period.

Oh but wait, didn't the existing franchise that had all but one of those playoff appearance up and move? That means that the current mess that calls The Mistake by the Lake" home doesn't have a real connection to those past successes. Sure, the NFL can claim the era prior to the move is still valid for the current disaster of a team but simple reality is, there is no real connection between the 2 DIFFERENT teams.

Shall we compare what has happened since the Cleveland Dumpster Fires "re-entered" the league?

Go on, make yourself feel better by rejecting the reality of there being 2 unconnected teams called the Browns in the NFL. I've heard it. But just remember, trying to connect the 2 insults the living hell out of the previous team.
