2020 Election
Side note, Karl Rove just said on Fox News "Nobody's going to be able to create large numbers of fake votes and submit them into the system."

If there is a dude who would back up the claim if he could it would be that guy. Also worth noting last two recounts in Wisconsin produced about 300 votes each....Trump is losing by 20k. He is just grasping at straws now.

Nikki Haley would be the best choice IMO.  I think she'd generate a crushing EC victory.

He's a 1 term President and the DNC will have little choice but to back Harris in 2024 (If she hasn't already taken over). She will get slaughtered in a run against a viable conservative, while we all pay $3-4 a gallon at the pumps.

Be prepared for a huge letdown when 2024 becomes Harris v Trump.

I have the feeling that Trump won't be a good loser and will want another go at it.

It may be Harris vs Trump, but I don't think it's Donald.

Just when one Kennedy family dies off another takes its place.

I think after this Trump is done.  He'll fight just enough to be able to say the system was rigged against him and then he'll go off into the sunset.

It would actually be really interesting because I can see a splintering of the GOP before then. You have the traditional GOP and the new Trump/QANON version. That could actually create a bit of an issue if for instance the Trumps split off and run as a 3rd option.

Yeah, I can't imagine him staying in this country or staying out of trouble for 4 years for another run in 2024 but you never know.

I also could picture a Trump/Trump vs Trump/Trump ticket in 2024.

Speaking of 2024.

No matter who wins this election the economy is going to struggle for a while, and the President will take a lot of blame even though there is not a lot he can do about it.

There were plenty of signs of weakness even before the pandemic. The Fed had been cutting prime rate drastically to try and head off a recession. And this was with Trump already doubling down on deficit spending to artificially pump up the numbers.

See this is where I think the idea of "shoot the hostages" comes into play between now and January. It becomes the GOP's directive to try and do as much long term economic damage that it carries their message into 2022.

I predicted the TEA Party would cause the GOP to split.  So I don't have my hopes up.

Not to mention a crushing ED victory, too.  Ninja

Trump is an enigma, he and his family are looked at like royalty. I think the next year will be fascinating.

Then I'll just dream big and say that'll give voters 4 years to realize the only fiscally conservative candidates are under the Libertarian banner.  Give in...one of us, one of us.

Ivanka? Because I can't imagine any of the sons being anywhere close to being electable.

Depends on how much shit is talked about him over the next 3 years in my opinion.

It's arguable that he only started seriously thinking about running in the first place because Obama nationally embarrassed him so badly at the correspondent's dinner in '11.

If they take their W and just do their thing, you're probably right. But the more they make their policies/actions an attack against him/his presidency, I don't think he'll be able to resist. Guy's got thin skin.
