Love the early MNF game. Hope theye aren't going on the road the following week, but you can almost bet they will. My guess will be at pitt, as the league wants them to remain relevant. At least the travel there would be easy.

The winning % of the road team a week after playing MNF is pathetically low, but Joe and the Boys keep bucking old trends.

With 2 night games already leaked and with the assumption that Buffalo will be a 3rd, that leaves games against the Ravens and Steelers as the other 2.  I wouldn't mind a week 4 day game against Pitt.  I hated having all 3 of our division road games in primetime last season.

Me too.  And going 1-2 in those games shows not every trends has been reversed, although that Cleveland game, right after the surprise death of one of their coaches, and the first game without Chido, I take with a grain of salt.

Serious question, why would you want Whitworth to be the ruler of the jungle vs the Rams? So he can chat it up with his LA pals about the time they beat cincy in the super bowl? Lol

Makes no sense

Cause if he is the Ruler he can't publically root for the other side

I can't see Whitworth agreeing to be Ruler, at least not for that game.
He wouldn't do that to the Rams.

Hard pass on bringing in Whitworth in conjunction with playing the Rams since he and the Rams beat the Bengals in the Super Bowl. His Bengals career can be honored in a different way.

I think we'll see one of the Steelers and/or Ravens games as a primetime game.
Also possibly Bills again.

.

It would be a Classy Move on the part of the Bengals to let him get Honored in front of both the Bengals and Rams players, Coaches and

fans watching the game. The only two NFL Teams that he played for. It wouldn't surprise me if the Bengals took the High Road in this way.

Am I Classy enough to want to do it ? Not sure. Maybe I would want Steeler fans to have to watch during one of their games.  Rolleyes

Sunday 1PM opener. I wonder how many more of the final four get that.

Stoolers game was at 4 (or 4:25), but I know what you meant :)

Stupid question:

Can we review who we play next year?

6 vs our division. 3 H, 3 A, obviously. What are the other 11?

NFC West + AFC South + 3 others. Is that right? Is the 17th game home or away?

Are the 3 extras the other Div winners? Chiefs, Bills, Vikes?

OK, I got it.

DIV + AFC South + NFC West + Chiefs, Bills, + Vikes.

Home (9): Ravens, Pitt, Browns, Colts, Texans, Seahawks, Rams, Bills, Vikes.

Away (8): Ravens, Pitt, Browns, Jags, Titans, 49ers, Cardinals, Chiefs.

There should be no intra-division opening day games.

I think our best candidates for primetime/biggest games are/were:

1) at Chiefs (already Wk 18 at 4:25)
2) Bills
3) Ravens home
4) Ravens away
5) 49ers away
6) Jags away (MNF Wk 13)
7) Browns home
8) Browns away (1 pm wk 1)
9) Vikes home (1 pm Wk 15)
10) Pittsburg home
11) Pitt away

Would not have figured Rams at all for MNF at all. SB rematch, but they stunk last year. Still, we have 3 left?

Bills, 49ers, Ravens would be my guesses.

Supposedly week 3 is a MNF double header with the other game Eagles-Bucs

If Buffalo as expected is week 9 that means our bye is likely either week 7, 8 ,10, or 11.

Buffalo is rumored to be Sunday night. So there are still 2-night games to go if we get our 5 as we expect.
