I'll say the same thing I said to my doctor when I had a lump in my neck...probably nothing, but could be something.

I mean did you really think his knee wouldn't be sore and getting treatment after his first entire game? He was a full participant.

People get very sensitive when this topic gets brought up.

Just never mention that he was sacked 5 times and took 7 hits in total

It’s a legit concern.

I never worried about jamar’s pre season struggles bleeding into the regular season, but I didn’t blame anyone for having concerns about it.

You can’t expect fans to overlook things that are glaring

And you also shouldn’t shoot other fans down for noticing things

7 hits for a qb coming off a significant knee injury after just his rookie year SHOULD raise eyebrows.

so.....   27 attempts  (do sacks count towards attempts if the ball didnt leave his hand)

ill say 32 pass attempts (with the 5 sacks)        So hes beings sacked 1 out of every ~6 drop backs  and Hit every 4.5 Drop backs.  (using 32)

That will have to improve.

Do you think Joe survives the season?

I don’t see Hopkins improving until late in the season. Think we have to accept he’s Bodine this year.(a liability)

Not his fault though. He really shouldn’t even be playing right now. It’s a miracle of modern medicine

What kind of question is that?

Uh, does Sam Hubbard survive the season?

I don’t know

Lol let me elaborate a bit. Thought you’d have an opinion on if

1) the 5 sacks was how it’s going to be all year or if that’ll improve

And 2) if the protection remains as is… is Joe gonna get hurt again?

Last year people were saying he’d get hurt and low and behold he did, are you foreseeing that happening again? You’re usually a realist so curious what ya think is gonna happen.

Overall the OL play looked improved with some of the missed assignments coming from TEs and RB but at the same time your only as strong as your weak link cause they will attack your weak link.

Didnt we draft a Center this year?  is he really that much worse than a hobbled Hopkins
