It was only because Andrews stumbled and fell forward that made it look like a block in the back.

What’s done is done and we disagree and won’t be convincing each other otherwise.

Wild, even if I was a Ravens fan and looked at that over and over it is clearly a block in the shoulder.

Like I said, they DO call that at times which is BS to the game. So many Returns have been brought back because of these calls
and it has damn near ruined that aspect of the game. Speaking of returns, we need to keep Hinez contained, that guy is one hell
of a Returner.

That's unfortunate. A closed mind is a wonderful thing to waste.

Yeah. Refs don't matter. There is no conspiracy. The team that executes better and more consistently will win.

Plus, i prefer the obscure stats you find that are more accurate than conspiracies.

You should be quite embarrassed to post this.

It just seems too obvious lol.

Bills get 2 seed, beat up the bengals by playing a dirty Ravens team twice, injuring starters both games. Letting the Bills get home field advantage and selecting a ref the bills are 6-0 with while the bengals are 1-3 with. Likes to call holds and false starts, 3 2nd string players on the line now. Tin foil hat maybe, and you can’t count out Burrow, but you can count him out when he can’t get a fair shake with refs getting flag happy on them.

Hope I’m wrong!

Yep. Cheffers has worked 7 Bills games over the last 5 years. The Bills have been penalized 52 times compared 43 times for the opponents.

Bills and Cheffers. Last 5 years.

As you can see, the Bills were the away team 5 out of 7 games. Cheffers crews favor the home team 65% over the last 5 years. The NFL average is around 55%. 6 out of the 7 games the Bills were penalized more than their opponent. You can see the records for yourself. 3 really bad teams there, one opener (bad Rams) and 2 good teams.

Looks like we can cease and desist the ridiculous "fixed" narrative. Both teams are likely to be penalized more than their average. Play a clean game and there won't be a problem.

Hedging your bets. Always a smart play.  Cool

It's been brutal.  More snow than usual and colder than usual.  It's great getting all the water to fill the reservoirs, but at this point in the year I'm wishing it would be 60s and rain if we're going to get precipitation.  Has the Midwest been similar this year?

To the topic of the thread, it's true and fair to state that in close games, a missed/blown call can really change the momentum or possibly the outcome.  But it is what it is.  I don't think that on its own has anything to do with a fix being in, or the league's intention to punish the Bengals.  The Bengals have the exact same chance to win this weekend as the Bills.  Just go in and get it done.

I’m not hedging anything. I hope that it’s not too skewed like I think it could be, which would be like the Steelers Seahawks SB.

I know not to doubt Burrow, but, if the bengals start driving down there throat, and it looks like tge Bengals are the better team Sunday, and then some interesting penalties start flying in…it will make you start thinking! Lol

That's kinda the definition of hedging. ninjaninjaninja

I think, any game you watch, you're going to see some interesting penalties. It's just silly to think that it only happens to your team, or it happens to your team "because" (in this case, Hamlin) because every single fan base in the NFL believes the refs are out to get them.

Every.single.one.

How many times do people need to post stats proving this is wrong before people admit it's wrong?

I read some of thse posts and instantly understand why a buddy believes in so many conspiracy theories.

Any ref who was told to favor one teamm over another would surely have taken the opportunity to make a fortune off a best-selling book. Somebody would have leaked such a scandalous story. Everybody on sports radio would be talking about it. Some Vegas thugs would love to tell their boss about an upcoming thrown game, so the casino could change the point spread.

Do bad officiating calls against the Bengals piss me off? You bet! But I also recognize some calls favor the Bengals.

The NFL ***** up every single thing they touch. They literally mess up every single decision...but they're gonna pull off the greatest heist in the history of mankind.

Yeah. I don't think so.
