A person accused of 20+ sexual misconducts possibly committing another sexual misconduct sounds like a worthy news story. 

The narrative surrounding Biden is much more muted in terms of his sexual misconduct. I think he had 1 accusation, with a few other women saying he touched them, but not necessarily in a sexual way.

I think it has a lot to do with their public personas as well. Biden is considered, among many things, respectful and, as you alluded to, fairly non-sexual. 

Trump, on the other hand, is constantly talking about which women are "his type" and which aren't (as a justification for how he definitely couldn't have sexually assaulted them), he comments on women's looks constantly and has had 3 wives, with one of his former wives accusing him of raping her (before retracting it with the sentiment that a husband cannot rape his wife, which obviously is not true) and a porn star credibly revealing that he cheated on his current wife with her while his wife was pregnant.

In short...sexual misconduct is Trump's identity, whereas it isn't Biden's identity.

That may be why you suspect this would be widely reported if it were Trump.

With that said, Eva Longoria would never willingly hug Trump anyway, so we'll probably never find out for sure.

EDIT:  Haha!  Just went and googled this to remind myself of the Biden accusation.

So the 17 year old accusation came in April 2020.  CNN covered it daily then.  The ONLY thing new and recent is that CNN reported that the woman defected to Russia to feel safe.  DEFECTED TO RUSSIA TO FEEL SAFE!!!!!!

Actually according to his sworn deposition, he said it was his right to touch any woman any way he wants because of his money and privilege.  Not making this up.  It's in the court record.  I can only imagine when he gave that deposition his lawyer must have left finger prints on their foreheads from the vehemence of their facepalms.

Well, he keeps running off his lawyers.  He can't find ones to represents him in FLorida in Federal Court on the documents charges, and his lawyer in the CNN defamation suit quit as well.  Giuliani is in his own hot water for lying, influencing, etc.  Tough to justify being a lawyer for Trump if it's going to get you disbarred.
