They just showed a graphic on MNF about Adams. He's the 4th WR to get 700+ rec and 80+ TDs in his first 9 years.

I just did some quick math on Chase and he's on pace for over 900 rec and about 96 TDs in his first 9 years. There will certainly be a couple more on that list but it would be nice to see after Chad and AJ fell short on TDs and kind of fizzled out right around year 9.

And Logan had another interception against the 49ers Sunday. He baited Purdy on that one as well.

Logan keeps on making me proud. Love this guy.  Cool

third pass of the game . . . just off the tips of Sample's fingers.
fourth pass was almost intercepted
fifth pass was the amazing double sack avoidance on the third down toss to Higgins . . . that play also shows Joe's ability to keep level headed as it was the first pass of his 19 consecutive completions. Most QBs would have been too over come by adrenaline to stay so focused.

Yes that fourth pass was a bad one Joe I am sure wanted back. So true about Joe being level headed and not letting a bad pass
affect his overall play, he just moves on and makes one of the most insane plays I have ever seen a QB make.

That ties him for 107th for the most catches in a season by a Bengal with . . .
1972 Bob Trumpy - 12 games - 12 starts
1975 Isaac Curtis - 14 - 14
1987 Eddie Brown - 12 - 12 . . . strike year
1990 Eddie Brown - 14 - 12 . . . also in 1990 . . . Tim McGee 43 catches in 16 games - 15 starts
1993 Tony McGee - 15 - 15

Upcoming notables
1973 Isaac Curtis - 45 catches in 14 games - 14 starts
1994 Darnay Scott - 46 catches in 16 - 12
2018 AJ Green - 46 catches in 9 - 9
1978 Isaac Curtis 47 catches in 16 - 16
2020 AJ Green 47 catches in 16 - 14
1982 Cris Collinsworth 49 catches in 9 - 9 . . . strike year - Pro Bowl  season
1989 Rodney Holman 50 catches in 16 - 15 - Pro Bowl season

This one kills me
2000 Peter Warrick 51 catches in 16 - 16
51 catches on 126 targets.
Burrow/Chase would have to sink to 7 for their next 66 attempts to match that level of ineptitude.
Not sure if it was mentioned but, in the Seattle game, Joe Mixon passed Rudi Johnson for third place on the Bengals all-time rushing leaders list and is 617 yards from taking the second spot from the great James Brooks.

8,061 Corey Dillon
6,447 James Brooks
5,831 Joe Mixon
5,742 Rudi Johnson
5,421 Pete Johnson
4,176 Cedric Benson

Last year, Joe Mixon also had the most catches ever in a season by a Bengal RB with 60. That currently ties him for 49th most catches in a season with . . . Ja'Marr Chase in 2023.

So that means, that in two games, Ja'Marr Chase went from tied for 107th for most catches in a season by a Bengal to 49th. 31 receptions in his last three games. He's only 21 catches shy of his rookie season total and 27 catches shy of last years haul. He's already passed the career high of Eddie Brown who caught 59 in 1991 and Chip Myers' impressive 57 grabs in 1972. Isaac Curts had the above listed 47 catches in 1978 as his career high. The only TEs above him are Jermaine Gresham's 62 in 2014, Gresham's career high of 64 in 2012 and Dan Ross' Bengals TE record of 71 in 1981. So far, Chase has done all of that in seven games.

I guess the only way the other AFC North teams lose is for us to beat them.

Thankfully we have 4 more games against them to impose our will.

But let's take care of these CJ Stroud Texans first, good team with Stroud at the helm.

That’s actually pretty crazy considering how bad Joe was early on.
