The run does start now, but will you quit trying to get people's hopes up about eifert? No point in getting excited until he's actually on the field and making plays...and getting up from those plays. He could break his wrist clapping in practice or pre game warmups and be out the rest of the year

Normally this would sound ridiculous, but why not just rest Eifert for both Browns games?

Sounds like a good idea, but he needs the reps and the Browns might just be the best team to knock out any rust.

Because we can't afford many more losses, and the Browns always play us close....

Hobson said there's a chance he doesn't play this week.

I think there might be a typo in that story.   Week 7 of "2017" instead of "2016".

Don't worry.  It will just contain a bunch of hand picked stats making the '17 Bengals look great, glowing reviews of the Piano Man and the costco line from Mike Brown's discover card statement.

Okay, here's the deal, as to avoid a possible jinx, no one speak of his name until Sunday at 1:00.

He who must not be named.....

That hint was too strong. Schefter just announced Eifert broke 2 fingers and a thumb tying his shoes.

Gee thanks, JumboBuzzKill.

Whole lot of good that does us. Ian Rappaport just said that word is Eifert will miss 8 weeks per injured digit. That's like 17 weeks! Gaah
