He's tied at 31st with Jeff Garcia in career passer rating. So basically only 29 guys in NFL history had/have better career QB ratings than Dalton. (minimum of 1500 attempts, I think)

That's not to say Fields won't take the job. I think Dalton has transitioned into being a stop-gap QB at this stage. I'm just saying that Fields should consider himself lucky if he has Dalton's career.

Andy is/was so underrated. Quick release, Accurate,  and sneaky mobility.  I agree that he is viewed as a stop gap QB but I still think he can be a starting QB in the right situation.
