I even played sports with it.
I'm considering ablation surgery.

No trick with the 3yr old.
Easy enough to make, but keeping up with her....whew... pure fortitude.
LOL

Holy crap!  I've never known anyone with afib all their life.  Who signed off on your sports physical?

It wasn't triggered, during my physical.
I have an extra nerve that kicks it in and out.
It wasn't caught until I was 21 & been taking digoxin every since.

It's not WPW?

Doc never mentioned that.
I'm going to see a specialist,  as my current doc has called it Afib/SVT/arrhythmia.
Afib and svt are different,  right ?
Can't have both ?

Just read about it.
It sure sounds correct.
I hit around 220 bpm when triggered.

Afib is an irregularly irregular rhythm.  Your heart would sound like a bag of popcorn popping.  SVT is regular but very, very fast.  Wolfe-Parkinson-White syndrome is due to an accessory electrical pathway in the heart which can lead to afib.

SVT can do that too.  WPW has a delta wave on the EKG which helps you ID it.  The reason I asked about WPW was because the age of onset.

They checked your thyroid function?

Got to be Afib, as it feels as if it's flopping around.
The WPW sounds spot on.

People who have palpitations feels as if their heart is flopping around, but their rate and rhythm is regular.  I don't want to give you bad info.  After all, I haven't seen any of your results like your doctor has.  WPW was the first thing that popped into my head with your description.  Definitely see the specialist.

WPW is one of those things you catch in young athletes. When you hear about football players having an ablation in college or after the NFL combine physical, it is almost certain to be WPW.

Thanks for the info/talk.
I will definitely see a specialist.
I was never worried about it, until my daughter came into the picture.
I usually just took a deep breath and constricted my chest muscles until it went back into rhythm.
