Did any of you actually read the full article? It comments on Turner, CTB, Yoshi, etc. Is the headline a bit click-baity? Sure, but it still has a few positive observations.

I probably should have just posted it in the TC thread as to avoid these types of reactions.

Dan Patrick just reported Burrow out significant amount of time. Did anybody else hear that?

I haven't heard. But Jamar has all the talking heads talking so hopefully this is where it's coming from.

All reports I've saw is he is walking around without any limp or anything. If he's reinjured it rehabbing, I doubt anyone would know.

There is a rising dialogue from national reporters of "what if" Burrow misses some time.  How would the Bengals do?

I think it's a combination of "several weeks means several weeks" from Zac and Chase's recent comments about Joe waiting until he's 100% to return.

Nothing from the beat reporters to indicate anything out of the ordinary.

You guys are all way too worried about all of this.

It's a mild calf strain. He's going to be out another couple weeks then good to go. There has been absolutely zero information that has come out to make it think that its anything more than that.

Just saw a video of him throwing during warmups for practice on Cincinnati Bengals Talk FB page. No limp, just wearing the sleeve a slinging the ball fairly deep. He's fine.

Is this a recent video? I had no idea he was throwing still.

It was presented as such, but it's the Internet, so....

If Burrow's injury was as serious as that he would have been in a boot for a week or so but he was walking around in just the compression sleeve a couple days after the injury.

No boot is definitely a positive sign.

Yep, he will be ready for the opener, Ja'Marr really messed with a ton of people that took the bait. Clever. Smirk

The same National Reporters who always pick against the Bengals, right?

I believe that was video from the day he strained it. Someone told Kay in their interview Burrow was in treatment during training camp hours.

Yeah, I doubt he will be throwing passes until the week before the opener just to make sure.

Just an update....what I saw was apparently an older video. Joe was on the field today at practice for the first time since his injury. He looks pretty good walking here:

We’re not on the third layer of this onion yet. He looks fine-ish.

Interesting and brief interview between Rich Eisen and Andrew Whitworth.

He mentions that he spoke with Joe the day the injury happened, and Joe said he initially thought he was done for the season. He thought he had tore his achilles. He's right, calf injuries can be tough.

Still not really worried. It's not ideal, but there's a full month plus left before the first game.
